Can I use HTML in my posts?

There are 2 ways that this can be configured on a per board basis.

The following tags are available for your use if UBBCode is enabled:

(It is enabled on our message board site as is HTML so you can use both)

text = Makes the given text bold.

joe@email.com = Makes the given email address clickable
.
text = Makes the given text italic.

[image]url[/image] = Puts the given url in an img src tag.
text
= Surrounds the given text with pre tags.
text
= Surrounds the given text with blockquote and hr's. This UBBCode tag is used for quoting a reply.

link = Makes the given url into a link.

title = Makes the given title into a hyperlink
pointing to link.

Item 1

Item 1
= Makes a bullet list.
or
will make order/numbered lists.

How to put smiley faces and HTML in your Name or Subject Line

You have to use HTML to get the smileys to work the name and subject boxes

I can't put the exact code in this message or you will just see the smiley face so I will put a space between each character

Go to the smiley face icon page:
http://www.boards2go.com/smiley.html

Then right click and VIEW IMAGE of the smiley face you want
That will take you directly to the URL of where the image is

I.E. Here is the WINK smiley's URL
http://www.boards2go.com/smiley/wink.gif

So the code you would put in the Name or Subject box would be:
(and remember I am putting spaces between)

You would use the
< I M G S R C = " http:// www.boards2go.com/smiley/wink.gif " >

Do you know what I mean?

So in between the two quotes"" is the URL location of the image
Then just eliminate the spaces between the < I M G

Keep a space after the IMG and eliminate the spaces on SRC

Does that make sense?

If not heres a link to a small tutorial for images
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_images.asp

I hope that helps
